The content of the courses is defined by the syllabus document provided by Starling Skills at point of sale.
The customer must provide a list of students and student email addresses 48 hours before the start of the course. Students cannot be added to the class after this point.
Only pre-approved students will be admitted into the class.
Both parties will agree to a lesson timetable before the start of the course.
The customer can cancel a class up to 48 hours before the agreed time. This class will be rescheduled at a time agreed by both Starling Skills and the customer. Classes cancelled less than 48 will not be rescheduled. Subsequent changes to the syllabus as a result of cancellation are at the teacher’s discretion.
All lesson cancellations must be sent by email to fintan@starlingskills.com.
In case of teacher illness, we will endeavour to find a substitute. If this is not possible, the class will be rescheduled at a time agreed by both Starling Skills and the customer.
All classes must be taken 6 months (183 days) from the date of invoicing.
Starling Skills endeavour to ensure equal opportunities are provided to all individuals.
Starling Skills will make all necessary adjustments to ensure any students with a disability or special needs receive the same access to our courses and / or services as a person with no disability or special need.
Please provide Starling Skills with details of any students with disability and / or special needs as soon as possible.
All students must be over 18 years of age.
We reserve the right to refuse access to, or to require a student to leave a course and / or service if the student behaviour is considered disruptive, likely to cause damage, nuisance, offence or injury, or is otherwise unacceptable.
Students should not record any classes without prior consent from all other students and /or teacher.
The teacher may be required to record a class for quality assurance and teacher training purposes. Starling Skills will notify the customer and students 48 hours before the start of class.
Students are expected to join classes using a device with keyboard, webcam, microphone and audio (speakers or headphones). Students are expected to have stable internet access a minimum up / down speed of 3.8 / 3.0 Mbps.
Students must join from a quiet environment outside the range of a feedback loop from other students.
Students should not share a device.
All prices are shown on our price list and set in Great British Pounds (GBP). Starling Skills provides educational services therefore prices are not liable to VAT.
Prices can be converted to USD or Euro on initial consultation.
All payments must be made 30 days from the date of invoicing. Late payment will result in the suspension of our services.
Unless otherwise agreed, payments are to be made in GBP by bank transfer to Starling Skills.

Unless part of a specific agreement, services must be paid in full before the customer receives any service provision.
All services can be paid by either bank transfer or by secure card payment using PayPal or Google Pay services. Payment using PayPal is also accepted.
Some card providers pay set limits on card payment, in which case payments will need to be made by bank transfer.
Services (with the exception of Team Building) can be cancelled by email up to 24 hours before the provision of contracted service. Starling Skills will return any money paid using the same means of original payment.
Starling Skills cannot refund bank fees or transfer costs.
Starling Skills cannot offer refund after the provision of services has started.
Team Building can be cancelled by email up to 72 hours before the start of session.
Any resources purchased by Starling Skills for the purposes of services is liable to be deducted from returned amount.
Unless otherwise stated, the contract is deemed to have been formed in Scotland. Should a complaint, dispute or claim not be resolved through discussions between you and Starling Skills will have jurisdiction over any claim relating to the contract.
